It is more than merely yet another set of oracle cards or writing prompts, though it works amazingly well for that also, the Heart Deck is a collection of carefully curated ideas, both ancient and contemporary, interpreted artistically and carefully sorted into suits and triptychs to help add layers of meaning as it helps to inspire and empower you to live bravely, creatively, and with great love. It is both biographical (as the accompanying literature reveals) and universal, useful in one way or another to anyone seeking to live authentically and from the heart, regardless of where your own unique path has taken you.
The deck Includes - In addition to the 50 cards with the key concept there are two wild cards that help shift one’s focus in and out of the process during reflection and one blank card waiting for you to personalize the collection and to leave a little bit of your own story in the deck. The deck also includes a 60-page booklet that does not dictate what each card means but rather offers background and context for each individual work. The biographical context makes each card personal and concrete while opening it up to become whatever it needs to be for whoever is willing to spend time with the deck. Additionally, each card has a unique “QR code” (scannable digital code) on its back that reveals several reflection-prompts and conversation starters that is different for every heart card. They are powerful aids in reflection or great standalone tools to use as conversation starters. Simply draw a card and read the prompts. You can leave the rest of the story behind each participant’s heart.
